Who We Are our company... our commitment

Pure Reno Inc. is a family owned renovation company with over 28 years of experience in residential construction and commercial fit-ups. With a special focus on home renovations; kitchens, baths, basement and additions we have transformed many homes into fine living spaces. From a small renovation based on a simple design concept to a full scale project that will require project management, we can handle it all. Adding an addition or reconfiguring your existing layout can dramatically enhance your living experience and add value to your home. In order to do so you need to find a reputable contractor to do it the right way. Being well informed, trusting, professional, approachable, clean and courteous are qualities we strive to achieve on every project.

Aside from our own skilled and dedicated staff of licensed carpenters, apprentices and all important support staff, we built a trusted team of design professionals, engineers, specialty tradesmen and material and product suppliers…all working together for you! Our in house capabilities include our 3D design software that will give you a good idea on how your space can be transformed and in turn a more accurate bases to provide you with a true estimate.

At the forefront is president of the company Peppi LaRiccia, a master carpenter with years of experience and knowledge in all aspects of construction. Peppi’s passion and dedication to his craft has gained him a tremendous amount of respect in his industry. He is professional, respectful and above all well informed. To compliment Peppi’s skills is his business partner Bruno LaRiccia who with a keen eye for detail and design brings his own unique skills to the team…from project management and client care to design and fine craftsmanship.

We are active members of The Greater Ottawa Home Builders’ Association, a registered RENOMARK contractor which carries a 2 year warranty on all work and an upstanding member of the Better Business Bureau. We also carry a $2,000,000 insurance policy and adhere to the Workman’s Compensation Insurance Board guidelines.

How We Work Understanding the process

In our preliminary meeting we will meet with you and discuss any ideas or questions you may have concerning your proposed renovation. As professional contractors it is our opportunity and responsibility to give you all the information you need to make the right decision. We will review any drawings, sketches or reference material you may have to better illustrate your vision.

At our follow-up meeting we will review the scope of work based on the information provided in the preliminary meeting. At this point we would have developed a conceptual plan layout and determined a preliminary construction estimate. Once an agreement is made in principal, a deposit is ascertained to secure a start date and the design phase begins. Depending on the scale of the project, we can either use our in-house design services to provide you with a 3D layout of the proposed renovation or ascertain the services of an architect and/or designer to obtain working drawings and permits.
Once all the specifications are set, a construction agreement and contract will be prepared that will outline the scope of work, costing, allowances, work schedule, timelines and payment schedule as well as insurance and warranty details. As trusted professionals we guarantee our price will stay within the budget and timelines outlined in the contract unless any changes are made by you, the client, at any stage of the project.

Keep in mind there are other crucial aspects of a project beyond the cost of materials and labour that affect the price. The key is to establish trust and confidence and to ensure you know you are working with a reputable and professional contractor. Such things as insurance, warranty, follow-up, cleanliness and above all quality of work are deciding factors. Something we strive for on every project…just ask any of our customers.
